Dr. Laffer was a member of President Reagan’s Economic Policy Advisory Board for both of his two terms. Dr. Laffer also advised Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on fiscal policy in the U.K. during the 1980s. He has been a faculty member at the University of Chicago, University of Southern California, and Pepperdine University. Dr. Laffer received a B.A. in economics from Yale University in 1963. He received a MBA and a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University in 1965 and 1972 respectively.

Stephen Moore is a co-founder of Unleash Prosperity Now and a Senior Visiting Fellow in Economics at The Heritage Foundation. He the author of six books, including Trumponomics: Inside the America First Plan to Revive our Economy.

In both 1996 and 2000, Mr. Forbes campaigned vigorously for the Republican nomination for the Presidency. Key to his platform were a flat tax, medical savings accounts, a new Social Security system for working Americans, parental choice of schools for their children, term limits, and a strong national defense.

Tara Grier is the Executive Director of Unleash Prosperity Now, the 501(c)(4) social welfare organization co-founded by Arthur Laffer, Steve Forbes, and Stephen Moore. She leads the organization's research, communications, fundraising, coalition work, and events, turning pro-growth ideas into campaigns that reach lawmakers, the Administration, and the American public.

Tara joined Moore's operation in 2025 and was named Executive Director in February 2026. Since then she has built UPN's partnerships with major companies and trade associations. She has launched campaigns on AI, data centers, and American energy, and created a signature dinner series that brings senior policymakers into conversation with the business leaders their decisions affect.

Before Washington, Tara spent nearly two decades building marketing and growth engines in financial services. She was a founding team member of First Income Advisors, a national financial services marketing organization. She continues to serve as Senior Director of Marketing at Simplicity Group, a national insurance and financial services marketing organization, where she trains financial advisors to modernize how they market and grow their practices. That experience shapes how she runs UPN: every idea needs an audience, a message, and a plan to win.

Tara is a graduate of West Virginia University. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband and their two sons.

Michael Patchin was a Special Advisor in the Office of Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Journalism and Electronic Media, he supports strategic communications, media relations, and public affairs initiatives. He also served in the Office of the Chief of Staff, where he helped coordinate high-profile events, stakeholder engagement, and communications efforts across the Department.

Mary-Kate Wolfe serves as Special Assistant to the Executive Director at Unleash Prosperity Now, where she supports day-to-day operations, scheduling, travel, and event logistics for the organization's leadership and guests.

Mary Kate brings years of experience in private club management and hospitality, where she built a reputation for anticipating needs before they arise and delivering a first-class experience for members and their guests.

Her background in high-touch service makes her a natural fit for an organization that regularly convenes policymakers, donors, and business leaders. At UPN, she ensures that every meeting, dinner, and visit runs smoothly and that every guest feels welcomed.
